On March 20, 2025, the Government of Armenia adopted Decision No. 318-N, introducing new regulations for individuals aged 16 to 18 who, within the framework of their studies, undergo practical on-the-job training and perform specific work, and who are:

• Employed in the production of alcoholic beverages under a vocational education and training program, or
• Involved in types of work defined by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia as hazardous, harmful, particularly hazardous, or particularly harmful, or
• Involved in types of work considered hazardous and harmful for persons under the age of eighteen according to the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

The decision outlines employer responsibilities to ensure the health, safety, and moral well-being of adolescent workers.

These rules come into force on April 21, 2025.
